The Flitner Ranch legacy and heritage is of obvious great importance to David and Paula Flitner. Four generations of Flitners have dedicated their lives to preserving the ranching tradition of the Old West. It was the suggestion of guests that David and Paula begin to pursue the initiative to preserve the Shell Valley and offer an opportunity to have others participate with them in preserving this integral part of American heritage.
Four generations, and over 300,000 acres later applying principles that made the old West the American treasure it is today. They still believe that a man's handshake is his word of honor. They still understand that a hard days work really does make a difference. From Arthur to Greg, the Flitner men have consistently demonstrated and executed an intelligent approach to land and cattle management. The land and its heritage are as important to David and Greg today as it was to Arthur Flitner 100 years ago.
"We know that our guests will become our old friends and share our passion to preserve this incredible piece of history."
